1. What is Pictofy?

Pictofy is an AI-powered service that generates pictograms for visual schedules, communication, and educational use. The service is operated by Pictofy with contact address support@pictofy.app.

2. Account, credits, and licenses

You can try Pictofy with one free generation without an account. To generate more pictograms, you need to create an account and purchase credits. Credits never expire and cannot be refunded after use.

Professional licences have fixed allowances shared by all practitioners on the licence: 1 practitioner receives 25 new figures per licence year and 500 images per month; up to 5 receive 50 figures and 750 images; up to 10 receive 100 figures and 1,500 images; up to 25 receive 250 figures and 3,000 images; the 60-seat municipal plan receives 600 figures and 6,000 images. Included figures do not cost credits. When an image or figure allowance is used, generation of that resource pauses. There are no automatic overage charges and personal credits are not used for overages. Extra capacity may be purchased separately by agreement: images apply to the current calendar month and figures to the current licence year. Unused allowances do not roll over. Existing materials remain available to use and print. The personal subscription retains its indicative level of 150 images per month; the student licence has a fixed limit of 100. A technical limit of 120 images per hour per account also applies.

The individual subscription is for private use and includes up to 2 child profiles. Professional use — e.g. in a clinic, practice, or other professional context — requires a Professional license (unlimited client profiles) or a class, school, or municipal license. Pictofy is not VAT registered. Displayed prices are final; no VAT is charged.

Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the paid period — cancellation happens from the account page. Existing credits are kept and can be used for generation again if the license expires.

Physical products are sold in packs of 2 sheets per material: cards 168 DKK, stickers 208 DKK and magnets 308 DKK, including packaging and delivery in Denmark. Multiple packs in one order share delivery; the total is shown before payment. An unpaired final sheet is supplied twice. Generation credits do not discount physical products.

3. Generated pictograms — license

Pictograms generated with Pictofy are licensed for personal and educational use. You may use them for visual schedules, communication boards (AAC), printed materials, classroom activities, therapy sessions, and similar purposes for yourself, your children, students, or clients.

You may not: resell, redistribute, or sublicense generated pictograms; include them in a competing product, pictogram library, or clip-art collection; or use them in commercial products intended for sale. If you are unsure whether your use case is permitted, contact us at support@pictofy.app.

Pictograms generated without the character feature (i.e. without your own photo as reference) may be featured in Pictofy's marketing, community gallery, or as examples. Pictograms generated with the character feature will never be used for marketing or shared publicly.

4. Pictogram library

Pictograms in the library are free to download and use for personal and educational purposes. You may use them in visual schedules, communication boards, printed materials, and similar non-commercial contexts. Commercial redistribution, resale, or inclusion in competing pictogram libraries is not permitted.

5. Image uploads

When you upload a photo for the character feature, you consent to the image being processed by AI models to generate stylized pictograms. You confirm that you have the right to upload the image. Your uploaded photo is only stored as a character reference for as long as you keep the character — it is not used for any other purpose and is deleted when you remove the character or your account. 6. Prohibited use

You may not use Pictofy to generate illegal, offensive, or harmful content. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that misuse the service.

7. Not a medical or therapeutic device

Pictofy is a creative tool for making pictograms. It is not a medical device, a diagnostic service, or a substitute for professional therapy, teaching, or treatment. Pictograms from Pictofy may be used as a supplement to established visual-support methods (PECS, ARASAAC, Widgit, and others), but clinical judgment and adaptation should be performed by qualified professionals (speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, educators). We make no warranties about therapeutic efficacy.

8. Limitation of liability

Pictofy is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that the service is error-free or uninterrupted. Generated images may contain unexpected results. We are not liable for losses caused by use of the service.

9. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are settled by the Danish courts, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
