Stack the clothes in the same order as the cards – the top on top.

Lay out the clothes in the exact same order as the cards

Getting dressed combines sequencing and motor skills. Stacking the clothes on a chair in the exact order shown on the picture cards — top first, then trousers and socks — removes the need to search or decide mid-routine.

Choose the outfit together the evening before so the morning only requires following one card at a time.

Split indoor clothes and outdoor clothes into two stages

The first three cards (top, trousers, socks) belong in the bedroom, while shoes, jacket and Ready belong in the hallway. Cut the sheet so each space only shows the steps needed right there.
